Last Saturday, my family visited a large aquarium. We saw many fish swimming in colourful tanks. Some fish were very small, while others were huge.
Our guide explained that all these fish lived in different parts of the world. Then she told us that scientists often use the word fishes when they talk about different species of fish. We saw many tropical fishes from Asia, Africa, and South America.
After the visit, we had lunch at a small café near the aquarium. I ordered grilled fish with vegetables because I love eating fish. My sister doesn't like fish, so she chose chicken instead.
On the way home, we stopped by a lake and watched a fisherman catch two fish. It was a wonderful day, and I learned that fish and fishes do not always mean the same thing.
